MET (Mad Espresso Team) is a Scandinavian-style specialty coffee shop. Designer and art director Eugenia Maximova was creating packaging for their drip bag coffee and wanted to visually express both 'MET' and 'mad' through contrasting typography on the front of the box. She approached me to bring 'mad' to life in 3D, and we decided to give it a liquid metal look—like it had just been poured into shape.
